ADDITIONAL DETAILS

APPLICATION: Saavysil sealer can be applied using a brush, roller, or low-pressure sprayer such as a garden sprayer. Apply the first coat, ensuring full and even coverage. For highly porous surfaces, apply until the surface stops absorbing (surface refusal). Wait 10–15 minutes before applying additional coats. Apply 2–3 wet-on-wet coats for optimal results. On vertical surfaces, work from the bottom up, allowing a 6–10-inch run down.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS: Surface and air temperature should be between 40°F and 95°F. Avoid applying if rain is expected within 24 hours. Surfaces must be dry before application.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Clean and remove dirt, dust, oil, previous coatings, and stains to allow proper penetration. Pressure washing or suitable cleaning methods can be used. The surface must be dry with no damp patches. Fill cracks, joints, and uneven areas prior to application.

DRY TIME: Less than 6 hours for drying and open to foot traffic in 12 hours. Dry time may vary depending on surface porosity and environmental conditions.

CLEAN UP: Use soapy water.

COVERAGE: Typical coverage ranges from 75–150 sq. ft per gallon, depending on surface porosity and absorption.

PRECAUTIONS: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid breathing spray mist and direct contact with skin and eyes. Protective gloves and eyewear are recommended. When spraying, use appropriate respiratory protection. Cover non-targeted areas such as windows and glass. Avoid accumulation on non-porous surfaces as it may create a slippery condition.

SHELF LIFE & STORAGE: Store in the original unopened container for up to 1 year from the date of manufacture. Keep from freezing and store in a cool, dry place.

LIMITATIONS: This product is not a waterproof coating or membrane. It works by penetrating into the surface to reduce water absorption. Water beading may vary depending on surface conditions. For full waterproofing systems, additional coating layers may be required. Effectiveness is measured by reduction in water absorption using standard testing methods.
